Donks

Little did I know that when I began my education at Paul Mitchell that one of the first things I'd learn, besides I need to lose weight, would be "Donks." If you are like me, you have no idea that a donk is basically just a car, usually a Monte Carlo or Caprice Classic, that has been modified to run on HUGE wheels. Like "I use a ladder to get into my car," huge. Lesson number 2: They sell model donks at the Hammond Toy Store right next to my school!

But seriously though... This is what we went over this week:

1. Blow Drying: Flat Wrapping, Round Wrapping, Leafing and Round Brushing.
2. Flat Ironing (but we call it a "smoothing iron").
3. Ironing with The Marcel Iron

I actually really enjoyed learning about Blow Drying for Control (Flat Wrapping and Leafing) versus Blow Drying for Volume (Round Wrapping and Round Brushing). And trying out Barrel and Spiral Curls on the Marcel Iron was fun too.
